My first post!!!Never thought I'll b doing this. After reading many blogs I thought why don't I start my own as this is anyway the best way to voice one's thought.
People have been talking about various events taking place around them,about football and various other issues in their blogs. Others spoke about the memories that have developed during our school life. But has anyone thrown any light upon our achievements during school? What have we achieved during our school lives and what is achievement for that matter? A few medals or trophies won in various events? Does it mean getting that badge during our last year of school? How can we say that yes we have achieved something during our core education years? What makes us satisfied of having completed this part of our lives?
I have been in Modern since the beginning and yet sometimes wonder what have I achieved now that I stand a few months away from completing my schooling life? I'm still clueless as to what a person should look for while analyzing what he/she has achieved during the many years at school. How many of you have thought about this situation which will come in our lives though sooner for some than others? Give it a thought and let me know...

yeah sometimes what a school gives u is ur personality...i spent some time with some DPS guys the other day at DIFF, and the diff between their school and our school was evident in their demeanor.
Achievements of schooling life can't be quantified with medals and trophies. Schooling lives form the formative period of any individuals growing up process. Naturally good schooling is essential. Usually schooling shapes the lives of "the young student". Sometimes it determines the course their life takes at the end of their schooling period. So schooling affects us in a deeper way at times and so is not just about having a chequered portfolio for gettin the ultimate "badge". Schooling coupled with one's bringing up, helps us achieve a certain potential, to combat the challenges of adult life. And that in itself is the biggest achievement through schooling. Ofcourse, the badges and the fame that come along with them are always welcome! Moreover, schooling prevents us from stagnating at the "growing up" stage of our lives,(which we might end up doing somewhere down the road!). In a way it helps us to keep growing as an individual.
Firstly...congrats for starting ur own blog..and this first post is quite good.
Trophies and medals do not reflect a person's achievements in school. The greatest achievement will be his/her own growth....both in character and personality. After all....a school is a stepping stone in a person's life and is an experience for everyone. A person like u and I, who spent almost 14 yrs in this one school cannot really measure his achievements.
